A professional development workshop for middle school and high school educators
The Federal Reserve must come to the aid of an ailing economy, and recent events have brought the Fed to the rescue and into focus. This workshop will focus on the history of the Fed, the Fed’s structure and its independence within the government, how the Fed uses economic indicators to make policy decisions, and how it influences changes in liquidity and credit to promote sustainable economic growth and stable prices. Along with demonstrations and copies of student activities, you will receive new insights into the role of the Federal Reserve.
