Workshop Description: Presenter: Katrina Babb, Assistant Director of ISU Center for Economic Education

A month or so into the school year, some things are working, some are not. Join us for this virtual workshop where we will discuss best practices for teaching economics in flex and remote environments. You will be encouraged to ask questions and share your expertise. We will work together toward even more effective economic education.

There is no charge for this workshop. Participants will earn 1 PGP.

The target audience is High School Teachers who teach or integrate economics into their classrooms. College instructors and professors that teach principles of economics are also welcome.

In this workshop, we plan to:
  • Review and reinforce an understanding of economic concepts identified in the Economics Standards.
  • Share best practices for teaching economics remotely.
  • Demonstrate how to utilize Zoom features to increase student engagement with economic concepts.

This webinar is presented by the ISU Center for Economic Education in partnership with the Indiana Council for Economic Education.
