Workshop Description:

Attention: High School Teachers of Economics, History and/or Government:

The Council for Economic Education, NY, is pleased to offer free professional development webinars for teachers nationwide. The webinars cover multiple topics on how to integrate personal finance and economics in the classroom and create a fun learning experience for your students.

Americans have considered the state of the economy "among the most important U.S. problems" since 2008. The issues frequently debated leading up to any presidential campaign include many economic issues such as improving the economy, how to reduce unemployment, the federal deficit, and taxes. We will explore how to best facilitate conversations around this topics with students in the classroom.

Presenter: Gabe Tanglao, Bergenfield Public Schools

When you attend the webinar(s), you will leave with relevant lessons, resources and tools that can be implemented the next day. If you are interested, but cannot attend the live webinar, please register to get access to the archived version.
